Before starting work, the paste must be softened. Do not try to rub glass or plastic with a dry piece of paste - this will only ruin the coating. To soften, you can use machine oil or watch oil. Then we act like this:
- Apply a small amount to a microfiber cloth or cotton napkin.
- Wipe the screen, being careful not to press very hard.
- The tool must be applied in layers for greater effectiveness. It is advisable to take breaks and start applying the next layer only when you make sure that the previous one did not bring the desired result. This is quite a painstaking task, so be patient.
- Having reached the desired result, wipe the screen again, but this time with a dry cloth.
Important! After the procedure, do not forget to wash your hands.
If, during the polishing process, you notice that the fabric has dried, drip machine oil onto it again.
GOI pasta plus grinder
To speed up the grinding process with GOI paste, many prefer to use a grinding machine, the rotation speed of which allows to achieve good results in a shorter time. If there is no such tool, you can replace it with a drill with a special nozzle:
- Use a sponge and microfiber cloth to polish the wheel.
- Apply a paste on it and start polishing.
- Try not to work long in the same place so that the glass does not overheat.
Important! Start at low revs, constantly check the result.
Sandpaper
Large scratches can be polished with sandpaper. Just choose fine-grained paper. If you saw that the screen has become more dull and dull, then you can use the GOI paste to return the brilliance and brightness. After the procedure, wipe the screen with a damp cloth or a rag.

Folk methods
There are several simple folk ways to remove scratches from a tablet:
- The most affordable remedy in every home is toothpaste. But for such cases, only white paste is suitable without any whitening properties, color crystals or other additives. Apply a little paste to the problem area and polish in smooth circular movements with a clean cloth or soft cloth. You can also use a cotton swab. If necessary, the procedure can be repeated several times. But, of course, toothpaste cannot cope with large scratches.
- Another way to remove scratches from the tablet screen is to polish the baking powder with diluted water. Two teaspoons of baking powder is one teaspoon of water. Stir until gruel forms and you can start. Instead of baking powder, you can use tooth powder.
- You can polish the gadget's screen with a talc-based baby powder. Dilute it in a small amount of water until a thick slurry forms and apply to a scratched place, and then wipe with a soft cloth. When finished, wipe the surface of the screen with a damp cloth.
- Another tool that will help us in solving this problem is baking soda, which is also available in every home. Dilute it in a ratio of 1 to 2 with the water obtained by the slurry, polish the damaged area, then wipe it with a damp cloth or napkin to remove the rest of the product.
- You can mask small traces on the screen with vegetable or baby oil. It will give the surface a shine and hide all minor defects.
- Car polish is also used to remove scuffs on the screen. Apply a small amount of this product to scratches and wipe the surface with a cloth.
