  2. Dissolve vinegar in warm water in a 1: 1 ratio to remove stains without much effort. Apply to a contaminated area and wait 10 minutes, then rinse. This method will help you quickly remove greasy stains from clothing, and you may not need a machine wash.
  3. Woolen clothes can be cleaned with gasoline. Apply refined gasoline to a cotton swab or piece of cloth and treat the stain, then be sure to wash it.
  4. To clean velvet, use bread crumb. Rub the “nuisance” with bread. Do not forget to remove the crumbs.
  5. To remove greasy stains from plush, alcohol or turpentine will do. Turpentine can also be used with ammonia. Mix the substances in equal proportions and treat the pollution with the resulting solution.
  6. On dense tissues, you can use a mixture of gasoline and acetone in a 1: 1 ratio.After processing, wipe the contamination with ammonia and into the wash.

Important! This composition can not be used on thin synthetic fabrics, when used on dense synthetic fabrics, first try the product on an inconspicuous area or spare flap, as the fabric may change color.

  1. Treat a grease stain from engine oil with magnesia powder and a small amount of ether. In the same case, a mixture of turpentine with ammonia can also be used.
  2. Prepare a thick slurry of the following components: grated laundry soap - 2 parts, ammonia - 2 parts, purified turpentine - 1 part. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and treat the stain with gruel, as well as the area around it. After 2-3 hours, wet the product and rub the mixture again. Wash after the procedure.
  3. Potato flour or starch also removes greasy stains. Mix them with water until gruel forms. Leave the item for a few hours and then rinse.
  4. For capricious silk, prepare a mixture of ammonia, glycerin and water in a ratio of 1: 2: 2. Apply the product with a cotton swab to the dirt and rinse off after 10 minutes.

What to do with the old oily stain?

  1. Treat contamination with purified turpentine. If fat is ingrained in tissue, then success can only be achieved with sufficient diligence.
