Basic rules for washing

How to iron polyester? Before you decide to wash the polyester in the washing machine, be sure to pay attention to the label, which will show a bowl of water indicating the temperature. If a palm is shown above the bowl, then only hand wash is recommended. However, it is better to wash a coat or a voluminous jacket in a washing machine.

Observe the following rules:

  1. All products made of polyester are washed at a temperature not exceeding 40 ° C, since in hot water this material is stretched, discolored and may acquire a gray tint.
  2. All clothes made from this fabric can only be washed with bright items.

Important! Do not use bleach when washing light polyester products.

  1. Before washing, empty your pockets and turn it inside out. Set the mode for such products as “Hand wash” or “Delicate mode”. Set the temperature indicated on the product label.
  2. If the insulation is synthetic winterizer, use a gentle detergent, such as “Weasel”, “Vorsinka”, etc.
  3. If the insulation in the jacket is fluff and feather, use a liquid detergent, as grains of powder will not be well rinsed out of the product. We recommend throwing a couple of tennis balls into the washing machine so that the fluff and feather do not stray into lumps.
  4. After washing, rinse the jacket twice: first in non-spin mode, and then set the delicate spin.
  5. To make the raincoat, jacket or coat made of polyester less dirty as a result of socks, add a little during the last rinse antistatic.
  6. To prevent the washing of the polyester jacket from affecting the volume of the item, add conditioner.

Important! If “hand wash” is indicated on the product label, it should also be rinsed twice in the same modes.

  1. Wash the down jacket separately from other things, since the insulation from the water will swell and the thing will occupy the entire space of the drum.
  2. When washing a polyester jacket by hand, first draw warm water into the bathroom and then dilute the detergents for gentle washing in it. If the jacket has a bright color, then use a special tool for synthetics.
  3. You do not need to pre-soak a polyester product, most heaters do not tolerate this procedure well. Particularly contaminated places are best rubbed with a brush.

Important! Before washing, fasten outerwear on all buttons and locks, even better - pack in a laundry bag, if any.

How to dry things made of polyester?

After washing the polyester jacket is completed:

  1. Remove the item from the machine.
  2. Squeeze it lightly with your hands.
  3. Pat dry with a bath towel to absorb most of the moisture.
  4. Hang on your shoulders.
  5. To avoid ironing, manually straighten all the folds.

Important! Dry things away from heaters and away from direct sunlight, as burned spots may remain on the polyester. While drying the down jacket, periodically sort and straighten the fluff with your hands so that it does not go astray. At the same time, from time to time it is necessary to turn the product upside down so that it remains voluminous and smooth.
